The BlueWater Inn of Grand Haven

MINIMUM STAY REQUIREMENTS: Advance reservations generally require a minimum stay of two nights. From July 26, 2024 through August 3, 2024 (Coast Guard Festival) our minimum stay requirement is five nights. "Walk-ins" and same day reservations will be accepted on a one night basis if we have availability.

DEPOSITS & CANCELLATION POLICY: For advance reservations of 5 nights or longer, a non-refundable deposit in the amount of $350.00 per room will be required at the time the reservation is made. For stays of less than 5 nights, a non-refundable deposit equal to the amount of the first night's room charges per room reserved will be required at the time the reservation is made. Reservations are not guaranteed until the deposit is paid. The deposit will be applied to the cost of the stay, however it is non-refundable if you cancel. Any remaining balance will be due upon arrival. No adjustments will be made for shortened stays. Reducing the length of the stay or modifications of dates constitutes a cancellation and is subject to this cancellation policy. All cancellations require notification by phone or email at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled arrival date and require acknowledgement of the cancellation otherwise in addition to the forfeiture of your deposit you may be responsible for 100% of the remaining balance. Failing to call or show before checkout time after the first night of a reservation will not only result in the forfeiture of your deposit, but will also result in the cancellation of the remainder of your reservation and you will be charged 100% of the remaining balance. A $30.00 fee will be charged for returned checks.

ROOM OCCUPANCY: Rates are based on standard occupancy as noted in each room description and subject to 6% state use tax and a 2% local lodging assessment. If the number of guests will exceed the standard occupancy of the room/suite you must get pre approval from Bluewater Inn management. An additional $50.00 per person per day may be charged.

CHECK OUT time is 11:00 a.m. Arrangements may be made for late departures, subject to availability and only with prior management approval.

PARKING by permit only. We cannot guarantee parking. The Bluewater Inn permit is issued upon arrival and is used by us to track our guests parking around the building. It does not reserve or guarantee a spot. Because space is limited, only one parking permit will be issued per room. Please inquire if you have more than one vehicle. No boats or trailers please.

NO SMOKING: At both of our locations smoking is not allowed anywhere inside the building and all of our room/suites are non-smoking. Additionally, smoking is not allowed in the outdoor areas of our property which includes the decks, courtyard, patios etc. per State of Michigan regulations. Violations will result in a $300.00 daily fine and/or cancellation of lodging privileges. Adjustments will not be made for the loss of any remaining nights booked.

BACHELORETTE/BACHELOR PARTIES AND OTHER ONSITE "PARTIES": For the comfort of alll of our guests, and out of respect for our neighbors, we do not allow any onsite parties at either of our locations that could be disruptive to our guests or neighbors.

MAID SERVICE AND LINENS: The Bluewater Inn does not offer daily maid service. All rooms have been cleaned prior to occupancy and are furnished with an initial set of linens and towels based on room occupancy. If at any time during your stay you would like to exchange your linens or towels you may do so for the following fees: Linens: $5.00 per bed Towels: $5.00 per person (two sets). Coin operated laundry facilities are also available upon request on a limited basis.

WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS: Free wireless internet access is offered at both locations.

ROLLAWAYS are available for a fee of $10.00 per night. They must be reserved in advance as the number is limited and not all rooms will accomodate a rollaway. Rollaways are not available at our BWI Downtown location.

KITCHENETTES are furnished with coffee makers, toasters, basic cookware and dinnerware.
